Pada tanggal 16 – 18 Maret 2023 telah dilaksanakan Rapat Nasional Badan Kerja Sama Dekan Fakultas Hukum Perguruan Tinggi Negeri Se-Indonesia (BKS Dekan FH PTN) di Margo Hotel, Kota Depok, Jawa Barat. Dekan FH UI sebagai Ketua BKS Dekan FH PTN membuka acara dengan menyampaikan agenda yang menjadi pembahasan pada rapat nasional pertama di tahun ini. Rapat Nasional ini dihadiri oleh 132 peserta dari 49 PTN yang bersama-sama secara musyawarah mufakat menyepakati hal-hal yang akan dilaksanakan sebagai agenda BKS Dekan FH PTN.
Sebelumnya Dekan FH UI, Dr. Edmon Makarim, S.Kom., S.H., LL.M. yang telah mengadakan kunjungan internasional ke Australia dan New Zealand, membuka jalan untuk kolaborasi yang dapat dilakukan BKS Dekan FH PTN yang akan dilaksanakan pada Mei tahun ini. Hal ini menjadi langkah besar internasionalisasi BKS Dekan FH PTN dan dapat dilanjutkan kolaborasi PTN-PTN yang menjadi anggotanya.
Agenda yang dibahas dalam Rapat Nasional adalah, penyusunan AD-ART, Tindak Lanjut MBKM, LAM, Harmonisasi BKS-MKN, dan Implikasi dan Peran Dewan Kehormatan. Sebagai tindak lanjut MBKM, akan ada penandatanganan deklarasi Program MBKM bagi anggota BKS Dekan FH PTN.
Sedangkan dalam menyikapi LAM, seluruh anggota BKS Dekan FH PTN sepakat untuk mengoptimalkan Badan Akreditasi Nasional Peerguruan Tinggi, apabila di kemudian hari akan ada LAM, tetap pada LAM oleh pemerintah.
Anggota Dewan Kehormatan BKS Dekan FH PTN adalah Mantan Ketua BKS Dekan FH PTN Se-Indonesia dan perwakilan instansi pemerintah yang berkomitmen untuk memberikan kontribusi secara konkret kepada pengembangan dan kemajuan BKS Dekan FH PTN.
Pada agenda terakhir, BKS MKN sepakat bergabung ke dalam BKS Dekan FH PTN dan menjadi bagian dari Komisi Magister. Salah satu kesepakatan dalam Rapat Nasional ini adalah penetapan anggota biasa dan anggota luar biasa BKS Dekan FH PTN.
Pada penutupan BKS Dekan FH PTN, disepakati untuk pertemuan selanjutnya akan dilaksanakan oleh Fakultas Hukum Universitas Syiah Kuala, di Banda Aceh.
